June Spotlight: Red, White, & Royal Blue

It’s June — what are you planning to read this month? If you are looking for a recommendation, consider one of my all-time favorites: Red, White, & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston.

This is such a fun read, full of romance and drama and charm. The plot centers on two 20-something men — one the crown prince of England and the other the first son of the United States. They pretend to hate each other, but grow to fall in love. While the love story reaches new levels, they work to deal with the expectations they face among their families and the nation’s they serve.

If you want a great beach read that will also help support the LGBTQIA+ community during PRIDE month, this is one for you!
