July Spotlight: The Girls in the Garden

In honor of the summer and the desire to spend all our time outdoors enjoying the warm evening and lasting daylight, July’s spotlight is The Girls in the Garden by Lisa Jewell.

This is the setting of this story—a picturesque communal garden square nestled in the center of urban London housing, where your children run free, in and out of other people’s houses, attending BBQs and other parties, and simply exploring their environment. You know it’s safe - the neighbors have lived here for generations. But can you really trust anyone? And are your children really that safe?
